Requires each principal state department to examine statutory reporting requirements and recommend a uniform submission deadline for agency reports to the legislature by October 1, 2023.

Directs departments to identify any reports that should be exempt from the uniform deadline and propose legislation to repeal duplicative, obsolete, or extraneous reporting requirements.

Mandates the Governor submit a report to the legislature by November 1, 2023, recommending a uniform submission deadline and proposing separate bills for each department to streamline reporting requirements.

Addresses the state's worker shortage by seeking to reduce the reporting burden on agencies so resources can be redirected to core agency functions and direct citizen services.

Takes effect June 30, 3000.
