Establishes a Business Revitalization Task Force within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to improve Hawaii's economic competitiveness and business climate.

Task force membership includes directors from DBEDT, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Taxation, and Labor and Industrial Relations; a small business regulatory review board member; University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business dean; and county economic development directors.

Legislative committee chairs may invite representatives from construction, agriculture, visitor, food, retail, high technology industries, regional chambers of commerce, and Chamber of Commerce Hawaii to participate.

Task force shall identify methods to improve economic competitiveness, mitigate regulatory and tax burdens, develop recommended legislation, and improve governmental operations; must submit findings and recommendations to the legislature by twenty days before the 2026 regular session.

Task force dissolves on June 30, 2026; takes effect July 1, 2024.
