Replaces sugar and pineapple industry representatives with coffee industry and diversified agriculture industry representatives on the Advisory Committee on Pesticides.

Maintains all other advisory committee membership including the department of health, department of land and natural resources, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, Hawaii Farm Bureau, pesticide industry, structural pest control industry, an environmental organization, a citizen group, and a landscape professional.

Governor appoints committee members from lists recommended by respective agencies and industries in accordance with section 26-34.

Committee continues to advise and assist the department in developing or revising laws and rules related to pesticides and pesticide problems.

Effective date: July 1, 3000.
