• Authorizes the Examiner of Drivers to suspend a driver's license if notified that the licensee has violated section 291-57(a) regarding improper use of disability parking permits.

• Adds new violation to disability parking offenses: displaying a disability parking permit issued to a person who was deceased at the time of display.

• Increases fines for improper disability parking space use from $250-$500, with reduced fine of $25-$100 for permit holders who failed to display a valid permit.

• Requires courts to distribute 50% of fines collected from disability parking violations to the law enforcement agency that issued the citation.

• Authorizes each county to enact ordinances to enforce design and construction requirements for accessible parking spaces and allows county officials to enter properties of public accommodations to enforce these ordinances.

• Takes effect July 1, 2024.
