Repeals the requirement for the University of Hawaii to submit biennial reports identifying the cost impacts to the State of providing workers' compensation coverage for University of Hawaii students.

Eliminates the reporting deadline that required submission prior to each regular legislative session in the first year of each biennium.

Retains the University of Hawaii's authority to adopt rules and conduct annual facility safety inspections for student placements.

Takes effect upon approval of the Act.
