Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes section 92-4(a) to allow representatives of the news media to attend executive meetings held by boards.

Boards may require that specified information discussed in executive meetings remain undisclosed, even with media representatives present.

Maintains existing requirements that executive meetings require a two-thirds affirmative vote of members present (constituting a majority of total board members) and be limited to matters exempted under section 92-5.

Effective upon approval.
