Expands the prohibition on tobacco use in public schools (kindergarten through grade 12) to also prohibit possession of tobacco products and electronic smoking devices.

Defines electronic smoking devices to include e-cigarettes, e-hookahs, e-cigars, vape pens, advanced refillable personal vaporizers, electronic pipes, and related components or accessories.

Excludes from the prohibition products approved by the FDA for tobacco cessation or therapeutic purposes and marketed solely for those purposes.

Requires the Department of Education to educate students, employees, and visitors about smoking and tobacco use prohibitions through clearly legible signs displayed at all entrances and conspicuous outdoor locations.

Takes effect on July 1, 2024.
