Amends section 304A-105, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to add requirements for Board of Regents oversight of chairperson designees

Requires the Board of Regents to approve by majority vote any designee selected by the chairperson to serve or participate on legislatively established boards, commissions, working groups, or task forces

Approval of designees must comply with quorum and majority vote requirements of section 304A-104(c)

Makes minor technical changes to statutory language, replacing "set forth" with "described" and removing an unnecessary comma

Takes effect upon approval
