Establishes a terminally ill qualifying patient medical cannabis use working group within the Department of Health to study the feasibility of permitting terminally ill patients to use medical cannabis within health care facilities.

Working group shall examine types of health care facilities where use would be permitted, appropriate safety protocols and storage requirements, and barriers including federal laws and regulations.

Working group membership includes representatives from the Department of Health, hospitals, care home facilities, hospice providers, patient advocacy organizations, and other members deemed necessary by majority vote.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2024 regular legislative session.

Working group shall cease to exist on June 30, 2025.
