Change Land Use Commission approval requirement from six affirmative votes to a simple majority of members present and qualified to vote for any boundary amendment.

Reduce the timeframe for conducting a hearing on a boundary amendment petition from 60-180 days to 120 days.

Reduce the deadline for the Land Use Commission to approve, deny, or modify a petition from 365 days to 180 days, with an optional extension not to exceed 90 days requiring a two-thirds vote.

Allow time extensions beyond the 180-day deadline only by two-thirds vote of commission members, compared to no such limitation in current law.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
