Urges the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to convene a task force to develop art, branding, and narratives for selected Hawaii communities, landmarks, parks, and similar areas.

Task force to include the Executive Director of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (as chairperson), administrators from the Division of State Parks and Business Development and Support Division, a University of Hawaii Community Design Center representative, a cultural advisor, and other appropriate members.

Task force directed to examine branding and retail strategies from national parks and cities to develop a suitable plan for Hawaii, addressing concerns about private companies profiting from Hawaii merchandise that may not authentically reflect local culture and character.

Task force required to submit a report with findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, Division of State Parks, Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism, and University of Hawaii System President.
