Direct the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency to submit a hazard mitigation assistance grant request or pre-disaster mitigation program grant request to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for rockfall mitigation in Moanalua Gardens and Moanalua Valley on Oahu.

Grant request must specifically address rockfall mitigation under the Tripler Army Medical Center hillside, which is federally owned and previously had rockfall mitigation projects conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Moanalua Gardens and Moanalua Valley communities are identified as high-risk zones for landslides and rockfalls that pose threats to surrounding communities.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Adjutant General of the Department of Defense, the Commander of the United States Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District, and the Director of the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency.
