• Requests convening a task force to examine successful public mass transit projects and develop options to reduce costs and increase value from state-funded transit programs in Hawaii.

• Task force to be co-chaired by the Chair of the House Standing Committee on Transportation and the Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Transportation and Culture and the Arts.

• Task force membership to include Hawaii's congressional delegation, Director of Transportation, Director of Business Economic Development and Tourism, Coordinator of the State Transit-Oriented Development Council, Executive Director of the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization, and other members deemed appropriate by chairs.

• Task force required to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of each Regular Session.

• Task force to be dissolved on June 30, 2027.
