Department of Agriculture, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, Department of Transportation, and Hawaii Tourism Authority are requested to print the "Pledge to Our Keiki" on the reverse side of each State of Hawaii Plant and Animal Declaration Form distributed under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 150A-5.

The pledge, developed by Kanu Hawaii, invites residents and visitors to commit to responsible and respectful treatment of Hawaii's environment, culture, and communities.

A signature line is to be added below the pledge for travelers to sign their names and symbolize their commitment.

The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism is requested to replace the current Hawaii Tourism Authority survey on the back of the Plant and Animal Declaration Form with the "Pledge to Our Keiki."

Certified copies of the resolution are to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture, Director of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, Director of Transportation, and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
