Requests the Department of Accounting and General Services and Department of Land and Natural Resources to collaborate with the City and County of Honolulu to establish community gardens on underutilized public land.

Supports the State's commitment to doubling local food production by 2030 through utilization of community gardens as a means of food production.

Acknowledges that community gardens can strengthen community ties, produce healthy local produce, and promote sustainability.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Comptroller, Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, and Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.
