Requests the Agribusiness Development Corporation conduct a feasibility study on developing desalination plants in West and South Maui co-located with hydroelectric power plants.

Co-location involves connecting desalination plant intake and discharge facilities to an adjacent hydroelectric power plant's discharge outfall, allowing the power plant's cooling water to be used as a desalination water source.

Study aims to determine if shared discharge and intake facilities can lower costs for desalination and power generation while increasing the region's drinking and irrigation water supply in the dry West and South Maui areas.

Requires the Agribusiness Development Corporation to submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2026 Regular Session convenes.

A certified copy of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Agribusiness Development Corporation.
