Film Office services include permit processing, coordination with state and local agencies, location database maintenance, crew information, support services, and industry business development assistance.

Resolution cites reports from the local film industry indicating the Film Office is difficult to contact and unhelpful when reached.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Maui County Mayor, County Council Chair, Economic Development Director, and Film Commissioner.
