Request the Department of Education to conduct a feasibility study on expanding public school jurisdiction to include a quarter-mile radius surrounding each school campus

Study should evaluate how expanded jurisdiction would allow school administrators to intervene and discipline students for bullying and assault incidents occurring near school grounds that currently fall outside their authority

Department of Education must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 Regular Session convenes

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Education and Superintendent of Education
