Urges the Department of Law Enforcement to develop and implement a U visa certification policy to protect immigrant victims of crimes who assist in law enforcement investigations and prosecutions.

Recognizes that U visas allow eligible immigrant victims to legally remain and work in the United States while assisting law enforcement, addressing fears of deportation that may prevent reporting of crimes.

Requires the Department of Law Enforcement to submit an interim report on policy development to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the Regular Session of 2025.

Requires a final implementation report on the U visa policy to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the Regular Session of 2026.

References the federal Victims of Trafficking and Violence Prevention Act of 2000 and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U Visa Law Enforcement Certification Resource Guide as models for policy development.
