Urges the Chief Information Officer to implement Act 172 (Hawaii Electronic Information Technology Accessibility Act) by December 31, 2024, more than 18 months after the law was signed on June 27, 2022.

Act 172 requires the Office of Enterprise Technology Services to develop and publish electronic information technology accessibility standards aligned with federal Section 508 standards and World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative standards.

State entities are required to review and incorporate the accessibility standards into their procurement and development rules within six months of publication.

Requests the Chief Information Officer submit a report to the Legislature no later than 30 days before the 2025 Regular Session describing implementation status and recommendations for future legislation.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Chief Information Officer, and Executive Director of the Disability and Communication Access Board.
