• Requests elected officials of Hawaii to live within the spirit of Aloha as codified in Hawaii Revised Statutes section 5-7.5, the Aloha Spirit Law.

• Recognizes that the Aloha Spirit affirms relationship-building as foundational for good government and requires consideration and kindness for others.

• Notes Hawaii's opportunity to demonstrate culturally informed behavior to approximately 10 million annual visitors and promote pleasant interactions among diverse populations.

• Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to Hawaii's congressional delegation, the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, executive department directors, Chief Justice, and county mayors.
