Urges the Department of Transportation to work with the City and County of Honolulu to plan and implement alternative ingress and egress routes in Pacific Palisades.

Identifies Pacific Palisades as vulnerable to natural disasters and notes that Komo Mai Drive is currently the only access route—a single-lane, winding, steep road with a hairpin turn.

References findings from the Lahaina Wildfire Interim Schools Working Group regarding the importance of multiple evacuation routes and emergency preparedness planning.

Requests the Department of Transportation submit a plan with a timeline for completing an alternative emergency egress route no later than twenty days before the 2025 Regular Session convenes.

Directs certified copies be sent to the Director of Transportation and Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.
