• Establishes the Maui Wildfires Settlement Trust Fund to be administered by the Attorney General for settling claims arising from the 2023 Maui wildfires.

• Appropriates $400,000,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026 and $407,500,000 for fiscal year 2026-2027 (total $807,500,000) to fund the State's contribution to the settlement agreement with approximately 2,200 claimants.

• Trust fund moneys may be used only for payment of eligible claims under the Maui wildfires settlement agreements and administrative costs related to those agreements.

• Requires claimants receiving compensation from the trust fund to execute a release discharging the State from all liabilities arising from the Maui wildfires.
