Repeals section 225P-4 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, eliminating the Greenhouse Gas Sequestration Task Force entirely.

Amends section 201-12.8(b)(2) to remove the greenhouse gas sequestration task force from the list of entities that may be funded by the Hawaii clean energy initiative fund.

Removes references to the task force while maintaining funding eligibility for the climate change mitigation and adaptation commission.

Takes effect upon approval.
