• Establishes a five-year Family Resilience Pilot Program within the Office of Wellness and Resilience to provide trauma-informed support and resources to high-risk families to prevent child welfare system involvement.

• Provides trauma-informed peer support navigators with lived experience to assist families with enrollment in public benefits, family strengthening, and cultural programming.

• Offers financial assistance and resource supports for food, clothing, hygiene, housing, parenting, childcare, household, and transportation needs.

• Appropriates $987,150 for fiscal year 2025-2026 and the same amount for fiscal year 2026-2027 to implement the pilot program through contracted services.

• Program takes effect July 1, 2025, and is automatically repealed June 30, 2030, with implementation and evaluation plans required by December 31, 2025.
