Repeals tenant selection preferences for disabled veterans (those with 10% or more permanent disability certified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs) in the State Low-Income Housing Program.

Repeals the first preference given to spouses of deceased veterans for state low-income public housing.

Modifies Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 356D-42 to remove these veteran-related preferences while retaining the authority's ability to limit tenants when required by federal law.

Maintains the existing provision allowing the housing authority to deny or terminate tenancy for persons who own or acquire a home within the State.
