Reduces the storage period for unclaimed personal effects of evicted tenants from 30 days to 14 days before the Hawaii Public Housing Authority may sell or dispose of the property.

Amends Section 356D-64, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to change the timeframe for household goods and personal effects of evicted tenants in public housing.

Amends Section 356D-94, Hawaii Revised Statutes, with identical changes to the storage and disposal timeline for unclaimed property.

The Hawaii Public Housing Authority retains a lien on stored property for moving and storage expenses incurred.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
