Establishes an electric vehicle fires working group within the office of the state fire marshal in the department of labor and industrial relations to examine the impact of electric vehicle fires in confined parking structures.

Working group composition includes the state fire marshal (chairperson), insurance commissioner, comptroller, public utilities commission chairperson, facility maintenance agency members from each county, and building permitting agency members from each county.

State fire marshal shall invite representatives from commercial parking structures and the condominium industry to participate in the working group.

Working group must submit a report to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2027 regular session with findings and recommendations on updating fire, building, and electrical codes; additional fire department training; and proposed legislation.

Working group shall cease to exist on June 30, 2027.
