Appropriates $8,175,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026 and $8,175,000 for fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Department of Human Services' Homeless Programs Office, in addition to the existing base budget of $27,250,000.

Funds are designated to support homeless outreach, shelter, case management, and related services to transition homeless individuals to transitional and permanent housing.

Addresses the fact that homeless service contracts have received no funding increases for over ten years despite rising costs for wages, utilities, and administrative services.

Enables contracted homeless service providers to address employee cost-of-living expenses and maintain critical services without reducing programs due to funding shortfalls.

Takes effect on July 1, 2025.
