Increases Hawaii's earned income tax credit from 40 percent to 50 percent of the federal earned income tax credit claimed under Internal Revenue Code Section 32.

Makes the increase permanent by removing the sunset provision that would have repealed the previous 40 percent credit on December 31, 2027.

Applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024.

Amends Section 235-55.75(a) of Hawaii Revised Statutes and modifies Act 163, Session Laws of Hawaii 2023 to remove references to the prior temporary credit rate.
