HI HB21

Amends Section 431:21-105, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to expand the Hawaii Property Insurance Association's coverage to include commercial property in addition to residential property.

Requires that commercial property coverage be contingent upon the applicant being denied coverage by at least two private insurers.

Removes language limiting commercial risk coverage to the same limits as residential risk coverage in the association's plan of operation.

Takes effect upon approval.
