Requires the Department of Education to convey fee simple title of land identified by tax map key (4)3-6-002:010 (Wilcox elementary school tennis court) to the County of Kauai by quitclaim deed.

The County of Kauai must accept the property in its existing condition and waives all claims and liabilities against the Department of Education regarding physical, environmental, soil, economic, and legal conditions of the property.

The land transfer was included in Act 307, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022, when it was conveyed to the Department of Education, and this bill reverses that transfer as the County of Kauai is deemed the more suitable owner and manager of the community tennis court.

Transfer work shall not commence before December 31, 2026.

Appropriates funds from general revenues of the State for fiscal year 2025-2026 to cover preparation, execution, and recording of the quitclaim deed (specific amount left blank in bill).
