Establishes uniform mandatory minimum jail sentences for violations of protective orders, eliminating the previous distinction between domestic and non-domestic abuse violations

Sets first violation penalty at a mandatory minimum 48-hour jail sentence and fine up to $150; prior temporary restraining order conviction under the same case counts as a second violation

Increases second violation penalty to a mandatory minimum 30-day jail sentence and fine up to $250

Raises third and subsequent violation penalties to a mandatory minimum 45-day jail sentence (increased from 30 days) and fine between $250 and $1,000

Requires all convicted offenders to complete a domestic violence program assessment and either a domestic violence intervention or anger management course
