Hawaii Technology Development Corporation shall submit annual reports to the legislature no later than 20 days before each regular session detailing businesses assisted, funding amounts, economic impacts (jobs created, revenue increases), implementation challenges, and funding recommendations.

HTDC must prioritize funding for Hawaii-based manufacturers with fewer than 100 employees that focus on local product development, advanced manufacturing, and workforce training.

Appropriates unspecified funds for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 to support the INNOVATE Hawaii program for technological upgrades, workforce training, marketing of Hawaii-made products, and research and development for manufacturing techniques.

INNOVATE Hawaii is a federal program under the National Institute of Standards and Technology's manufacturing extension partnership that has operated for over 20 years as part of a 52-center network supporting manufacturers nationwide.

Act takes effect July 1, 3000 (note: effective date appears to contain a typographical error).
