Appropriates $100,000,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026 and $100,000,000 for fiscal year 2026-2027 from general revenues for new construction of housing units for native Hawaiians.

Funds shall be expended by the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) for housing construction purposes.

Establishes legislative intent to fulfill responsibilities under the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1920 and support the mission of providing homesteads to native Hawaiians.

References DHHL's progress building over 6,000 units with previous $600,000,000 appropriation and notes over 28,000-member waitlist for housing.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
