Requires the Department of Human Services to automatically enroll individuals receiving federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits into Hawaii's Medicaid program, or authorize the Social Security Administration to conduct automatic enrollment.

Enrollment must occur within thirty days of the Social Security Administration notifying the State of the individual's SSI eligibility.

Prohibits the Department from requiring SSI recipients to submit additional applications or meet additional criteria to enroll in Medicaid.

Requires the Department of Human Services to submit progress reports to the Legislature no later than forty days before the regular sessions of 2026 and 2027.

Effective date is July 1, 3000 (note: effective date appears to contain a clerical error).
