Extends the sunset date of the State Rent Supplement Program for Kupuna from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2028, allowing the program to continue for an additional two years.

Addresses the housing crisis facing Hawaii's kupuna (elderly residents) who are on fixed incomes and struggle to afford rent as prices increase statewide.

The rent supplement program provides assistance to qualified kupuna who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.

Eliminates uncertainty for current program participants by extending the program's authorization period rather than allowing it to expire.
