Increases the annual bonus for public school teachers who maintain current national board certification from $5,000 to $10,000.

Provides $1,500 upon completing all components of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification program.

Reimburses the remainder of the national board certification application fee upon achievement of certification.

Provides an additional $5,000 annual bonus for nationally board-certified teachers who teach at focus/priority schools, schools with high turnover rates, or hard-to-fill schools as determined by the department.

Appropriates funds out of general revenues for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 to cover the teacher bonuses.
