Requests the State Auditor to conduct an impact assessment of eliminating cost-sharing requirements for diagnostic and supplemental breast examinations as proposed in House Bill No. 598.

Assessment must comply with Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 23-51 and 23-52, which require evaluation of social and financial effects of health insurance coverage mandates.

Auditor must analyze the impact of the Affordable Care Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and Prepaid Health Care Act on the proposed legislation, including costs beyond essential health benefits.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2026 Regular Session.

Concurrent copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Auditor, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and Insurance Commissioner.
