Urges the State Department of Agriculture and Maui County Department of Agriculture to address axis deer overpopulation by making USDA-certified meat inspectors, inspections, and processing facilities more accessible and affordable for local hunters.

Requests implementation of policies to increase the number of in-state USDA-certified meat inspectors for game mammals.

Directs the State and County Agriculture Departments to convene a joint task force to develop and oversee a program for affordable processing and community distribution of locally-hunted axis deer meat in coordination with USDA-certified facilities.

Requires the joint task force to submit a report to the Legislature by November 30, 2025, detailing program accomplishments, barriers, findings, and recommendations including any proposed legislation.

Directs certified copies be sent to federal agriculture officials, state and county leadership, and Maui County Council members.
