Urges the County of Maui and United States Army Corps of Engineers to prioritize and expedite planning, funding, and construction of a permanent replacement for the Kulanihakoi Bridge in South Maui.

Kulanihakoi Bridge was originally constructed in 1911 with four reinforced concrete box culverts paved in the 1930s, making the foundation 114 years old as of 2025.

2018 replacement plans faced delays due to flood development regulations prohibiting proposed temporary road crossings, requiring project redesign.

Directs County of Maui and Army Corps of Engineers to engage with local communities, stakeholders, and experts to ensure new bridge design addresses environmental concerns, cultural significance, and community needs.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division, state transportation director, Maui mayor, county council chair, and Maui County Department of Public Works director.
