Requests the Auditor to research requirements and parameters for implementing a law tying legislator salaries to median teacher salaries in Hawaii.

Directs the Auditor to examine jurisdictions that have established laws or regulations tying legislator salaries to other government positions.

Requires the Auditor to submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the Regular Session of 2026.

Establishes that the Auditor's findings will be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Commission on Salaries, which sets salaries for state positions including legislators.
