Urges the Department of Education to establish an annual Climate Week in all public schools across Hawaii to promote climate awareness, education, and sustainability initiatives.

Requests the Department of Education to collaborate with environmental organizations and policymakers to develop interactive climate action opportunities and support student-led sustainability initiatives.

Addresses youth climate anxiety by noting fewer than 25 percent of teens with climate anxiety receive needed support and highlights that climate education in youth is an effective way to combat climate change.

Notes Hawaii's public school students are not currently included in the State's Climate Week, limiting climate awareness education across the student population.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, and Chairperson of the Board of Education.
