Request the Airports Division of the Department of Transportation to convene a task force to explore feasibility of creating an airports corporation to manage Hawaii's state airports.

Task force membership includes representatives from the Department of Transportation, legislative committee chairs with jurisdiction over transportation, Hawaii Tourism Authority, airline industry, labor unions, airport businesses, and other relevant stakeholders.

Task force must analyze potential advantages and disadvantages of creating an airports corporation, including impacts on airport operations, governance, staffing, facilities, and overall effectiveness.

Task force must submit a report of findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2026.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Transportation, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Chief Executive Officer of the Hawaii Tourism Industry.
