• Requests the Department of Transportation Services of the City and County of Honolulu to implement a Restricted Parking Zone Pilot Program in Ko'olina, Honokai Hale, Nānākuli, and Maili neighborhoods.

• Restricted parking zones manage on-street parking through permits and signage, increasing access for residents while reducing commuter parking, traffic congestion, and pollution.

• Previous Kalihi Valley Restricted Parking Zone Pilot Program (established in 2017) achieved an 86% decrease in non-residential on-street parking and 70% increase in available parking spaces.

• The four targeted neighborhoods experience similar issues to pre-program Kalihi Valley, including street trash, people sleeping in vehicles, loitering, abandoned vehicles, and parking shortages.
