Requests the University of Hawaii prioritize construction of "Halau o Kawaihuelani," an office and classroom building at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The building would house the Hawai'inuiakea School's Dean and staff, the Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language faculty and staff, Hawaiian language classes, and a performing arts facility for Hawaiian music, dance, and theater.

The Kawaihuelani Center enrolled over 80 undergraduate majors and graduate students in 2024-2025 and teaches nearly 1,000 students per semester in language and general education courses.

Current facilities are inadequate, with the Kawaihuelani Center located in Spalding Hall on the second floor alongside multiple other departments, limiting expansion for projected permanent staff and faculty growth.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Board of Regents Chair, University of Hawaii President, Manoa Provost, and directors of both the Kawaihuelani Center and Kamakakuokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies.
