Congratulates ʻIolani School's team ʻIolani Raiders (captain Kevin Fleming, Jeremy Choi, Cade McDevitt, Tyler Hijirida, and Ryan Chan, coached by Kit-U Wong) for placing first at the 2025 Hawaiʻi LifeSmarts State Competition held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center.

Congratulates Kalani High School's team Kalani 5.1 (captain Jiaorong He, Zhoulin Chen, Aileen Kang, Kouki Oda, and Leala Florendo, coached by Susan Hori) for placing second at the 2025 Hawaiʻi LifeSmarts State Competition.

The LifeSmarts competition tests student knowledge of personal finance, consumer rights and responsibilities, health and safety, technology, and the environment, and is run by the National Consumers League and sponsored in Hawaiʻi by the Business Registration and Insurance Divisions of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.

Congratulates Wilson Chau, a senior at Maui High School and student body president, for being selected as a 2025 United States Senate Youth Program Delegate.

Recognizes Wilson Chau's community engagement as an Ambassador for Pledge To Our Keiki, leadership in environmental activism and wildfire recovery, youth mental health advocacy, and his plan to pursue a degree in economics for public service.
