Request that the Department of Education prepare and submit a report to the Legislature on implementing aloha-based civic education initiatives in Hawaii's public schools, based on recommendations from the Department's Civic Learning and Engagement Task Force.

Report must be submitted no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2026.

Report should include efforts to integrate the principles of the Aloha Spirit (kindness, unity, humility, patience, love, and respect) into civics education and any additional strategies to enhance civic learning.

Aloha Spirit principles are defined in Hawaii Revised Statutes section 5-7.5 and are intended to foster respectful discourse, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving to address political polarization.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor and Superintendent of Education.
