• Prohibits third-party restaurant reservation services from advertising, listing, promoting, facilitating, enabling, or selling restaurant reservations without first obtaining written authorization from the restaurant.

• Allows restaurants, consumers charged fees for unauthorized reservations, and authorized restaurant designees to bring civil actions for injunctive relief, actual damages (capped at total fees collected), and attorneys' fees.

• Establishes a one-year statute of limitations for civil actions alleging violations of this section.

• Defines "restaurant" to include dine-in establishments, pushcarts, food stands, and vehicles where food is provided or sold for consumption.

• Takes effect upon approval.
