HI SB1160

Prohibits selling event tickets for events held in Hawaii at a price higher than the original price charged by the primary venue ticket provider.

Exempts charitable organizations, their employees, and volunteers from the prohibition when reselling tickets through raffles, auctions, or similar fundraising activities.

Defines "primary venue ticket provider" as venue owners, operators, event managers, promoters, ticketing service providers, and their agents who conduct primary ticket sales or distribute tickets.

Repeals existing provisions (§481B-15) relating to ticket broker fees and cancellation refunds.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
